Judith is a part qualified patent attorney. Her responsibilities include the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in the engineering and IT field. She has particular experience in advising Japanese clients in the prosecution of patent applications before the European Patent Office.
Judith has a background in the disciplines of mechanical and aeronautical engineering. Before joining the firm she studied for her PhD at the Surrey Space Centre and enjoyed close collaboration with her industrial sponsor, Airbus Defence and Space. Prior to her PhD Judith worked for a design and analysis consultancy specialising in aircraft engines.
Judith joined J A Kemp as a trainee patent attorney in 2017 and works in our London office.
