Jenny is an associate based in our London and Cambridge offices.
Jenny enjoys the wide-ranging nature of her chemical patent work, which includes pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemical manufacturing processes, materials, polymers and catalysts. Jenny handles the filing and prosecution of patent applications for a range of clients including large companies based in Europe, Japan and the US. She has gained particular expertise in prosecuting patent applications in India for several European applicant companies.
Jenny’s practice also includes drafting patent applications. She works closely with a number of smaller start-up companies and university technology transfer departments, where practical advice on strategy is as important as technical understanding.
Jenny is able to help her clients create patent applications that are of value both in attracting investors and in protecting the eventual commercial product.
Jenny joined J A Kemp in 2002, after completing her PhD and obtaining industrial experience as an analytical chemist. She became an associate in 2008.
